All efforts by KidsAreStars.com are directed toward providing the highest
quality product possible, utilizing the printing methods providing the
most customizable options available. The very nature of the process
requires a completely "hands-on" environment. Nothing is left to chance,
because a variety of editing choices are made at every production step to
provide you the highest quality product available.
PREVENTING ERRORS IN PRINTING:
KidsAreStars.com employs error-checks with you at 2 vital points in the
printing process.
Spell-Check #1: Prototype Sales Cards
Upon receipt of the Prototype Sales Cards, you will be requested to
double-check the spelling on the back of each sales card. The printing you
view upon receipt of your Prototype Sales Cards is precisely the text
which will be printed on the cards you will sell. If you desire any
changes or discover any errors, please contact our office via email:

Spell-Check #2: Spell-Check Email Confirmation
Prior to printing orders for your group, our production office will email
you one final letter listing the members of your group for one final spell
check. This will provide you one final opportunity to confirm spelling
correctness. Printing will commence with your reply to this letter,
either confirming correctness in the spelling of each name or detailing
errors you find and providing correct spellings.
SPELLING ERRORS IN FINAL
PRODUCT:
If you receive orders, and spelling errors are evident in the final
product: 1. If the error fault
resides with KidsAreStars.com (i.e., you have notified us prior to
printing of the error and it was not resolved, and/or you replied to the
spell-check email and the problem was apparently not resolved),
KidsAreStars.com will reprint the card order (less envelopes and boxes) in
a timely manner and ship them to you at no charge to you. 2. If the error in
printing is due to your oversight in the spell-check process (i.e.,
checking of spelling after receipt of the Prototype Sales Cards, and/or
confirming correct spelling in the spell-check email prior to printing),
KidsAreStars.com cannot be held financially responsible for reprints if
you did not notify us of the errors when provided the opportunity to do
so. However, KidsAreStars.com will reprint the cards at an adjusted
printing price (less envelopes and boxes). That price will be
determined at our discretion and an invoice will be emailed to you prior to
reprinting.
PAYMENT FROM YOU
Payment must be enclosed with your order form.
However, we understand that you may require an invoice from us prior to
sending payment. In the event that you require an invoice, please
contact us as soon as possible so that we may email a printable
invoice to you. You may then mail your payment to us. But
please keep in mind: Your order is placed into the production queue
when payment is received. For your convenience,
and to avoid any further delays in production, we accept all major credit
cards via Google Checkout online. Please notify us if you wish to
pay for your group's order via credit card through Google Checkout.
We will then email you an invoice for the order total, and when paid, send
a paid invoice copy via email and enclose a printed copy with your order.
CHANGES IN THE
PRODUCT
The opportunity to make changes to the products you sell is upon receipt
of the Prototype Sales Cards. The Prototype Sales Cards will be
exact representations of the items your group will sell. If there
are any changes to be made, changes will be made prior to our receipt of your order.
Please contact our office to make any changes prior to your print order.
USE OF ARTWORK
Artwork from your group will be used ONLY for the production of greeting
cards, note cards and stationery sold by your group, or through the
website created by KidsAreStars.com for the benefit of your group.
KidsAreStars.com reserves the right to use greeting cards and stationery
as samples only in its marketing campaigns and/or in more information
requests by other groups and fundraisers. Under no circumstances
will KidsAreStars.com sell, give away, or loan the artwork from you group,
either directly or in the form greeting cards and stationery.
Implicit consent for the use of artwork by a student or group member is
granted to KidsAreStars.com when the artwork is submitted to
KidsAreStars.com for reproduction. Any copyright issues arising with
regard to use of artwork are the sole responsibility of the group or
organization submitting the artwork and/or conducting the fundraiser.
The group or organization submitting artwork, and parents or guardians of
the children producing the artwork, hold KidsAreStars.com harmless if any
issues regarding artwork copyrights arise.
KidsAreStars.com's copyrights reside with the design of greeting
cards, note cards and stationery, and not with the artwork per se.
Artwork from your group
will not be used for any retail sales by KidsAreStars.com, to
the benefit of KidsAreStars.com, outside of orders and reorders placed on
the KidsAreStars.com website and/or through the fundraiser order form.
ONLINE PURCHASES
Online orders and reorders of cards and stationery sets are available for
the benefit of your group through the KidsAreStars.com online ordering
website:
www.OrderKidsCards.com. This website provides your group an
opportunity to earn additional income. Your
organization will remain listed on this retail website from now on, or
until a request is sent from your group leadership to remove your listing. There is no expiration
date for online orders, no minimum order required, and all items ordered
online will be shipped directly to the purchaser. Shipping charges
apply to all online orders, and are computed automatically at checkout.
Online orders are
considered additional wholesale orders from your group, with profits
from these sales paid to your group on a twice-monthly basis. Checks
for online orders are mailed from KidsAreStars.com, made payable to your
group or organization, on the 1st and 15th of each month. Checks
will reflect online sales up to 5 days prior to the date checks are
written. (Sales made from the 26th of the previous month through the
10th of the current month will be paid on the 15th of the current
month. Sales made from the 11th of the current month through the
25th of the current month will be paid on the 1st of the following month.)
5% SALES PARTICIPATION BONUS
The terms
"5% Additional Profit" and "100% Sales Participation Bonus" are computed based on the suggested resale price of
$20 per unit. This percentage could be higher on lower on boxes of
product sold for an amount greater or less than $20.
The "100% Sales
Participation Bonus of an additional 5% profit paid back to your group" is
a bonus based only on one condition: That every member/student in
your group accomplishes the sale of at least one box of product.
Confirmation of reaching the 100% Sales Participation Bonus is determined
by our office with the receipt of your group's order form envelopes and
online orders within 30 days following the initial date of your campaign
(determined as the date you receive your sales campaign materials from us).
Upon receipt of the order form envelopes, which will accompany your
group's payment, and upon confirmation of all sales during the 30-day
period following the date of the receipt of your sales materials from
KidsAreStars.com, the 100% Sales Participation determination will be made by matching order forms
and online sales with artwork submitted for Prototype
Sales Cards. Once we have confirmed that every individual who
submitted artwork for a Prototype Sales Cards is also represented with an
sale from the order form envelope or an online sale containing an order for at least one box of product,
and all orders are confirmed as being paid, KidsAreStars.com will mail a
check to you in the amount of $1 for each box of product your group sold
during the campaign. This bonus back to you will be defined by
us as a contribution from us toward your group in support of your
fundraiser goals.
VERY IMPORTANT: For online orders to qualify for the 5% Sales
Participation Bonus, online orders must be placed and paid
within 30 days of shipment of your Sales Cards (or the initiation of your
sales campaign). Online orders received AFTER the 30-day period
after the start of your campaign will not qualify for payment of the $1
bonus. Revenues derived from online sales after the 30-day
period following the start of your campaign and payable to your group,
will be based on the costs to your group described in the Fundraiser
Handbook.
PROJECTED EARNINGS
POTENTIAL DISCLAIMER
Projected earnings
potentials described on this website and in the information packets we
mail to you are
based specifically on suggested quantities sold by your group at suggested
prices, and are not
guaranteed earnings by your group.
Additionally, the 40% net
profit to your group on the sale of each unit is based on the suggested
retail price of each product unit of $20 as described in the
Fundraiser Handbook. Actual percentage net
profit is determined entirely by the resale price set by your group.
Your actual percentage earnings could be higher or lower.
